Chiropractic was founded in 1895 and has been widely used to improve people's state of well-being. Regular chiropractic care maintains the integrity of the spine and nervous system to help prevent health problems. Chiropractic can also be a successful alternative to risky, invasive procedures. Many Doctors of chiropractic have been know to provide treatment for many spinal related injuries and disorders. The main philosophy of chiropractic is to utilize a treatment method that seeks to help restore a patients normal physiological functions.

Neck pain, back pain, and even poor circulation in your extremities can cause health problems, and can be a result of poor spinal alignment. Chiropractors most common treatment is called spinal adjustment, or sometimes called chiropractic adjustment. Chiropractic adjustment is a passive manual maneuver, keeping the movements within a normal range of motion to avoid discomfort, dislocation, or damage to the joints. The sudden force, which typically is audible, is the release that attempts to increase the joint's range of motion. Chiropractors are trained in numerous ways to restore your body to a correct alignment; each technique can reduce pain, increase mobility, and a better overall health.

Acupuncture is a treatment of insertion and manipulation of solid, generally thin needles in the body. Acupuncture works to create balance and flow in the body. Traditional Chinese Medicine views acupuncture as a key component in bringing a delicate balance to the body of the two opposing and inseparable forces: yin and yang. Yin represents the cold, slow, or passive principle; while yang represents the hot, excited, or active principle.
